10 years before the Swarm covered the planet…newlyweds Vice President Titus and Marana Traversea find themselves navigating their first Thanksgiving and Christmas together. But something is amiss. The holiday cheer is dampened as Titus continually finds other tasks to occupy his time. President Modock, a sly liar and not Marana’s biggest fan, suggests that her husband’s promise to be finished with the secret task and home on Christmas Day is not trustworthy. Will Titus be too busy to be home for Christmas, or will Marana find her husband’s secret is something meant to bring them closer together?
