Welcome to Writers' Vision
(Also known as WV)
Hi @Everyone and welcome! Whether you are brand new to the community or have been here a while, please read over this post.
WV is made to help you as a writer. It is a community of other writers who would love to talk, but are probably just as shy as you, so if you have a question, feel free to ask. Don't talk yourself out of it, just do it.
I know it's daunting when the community doesn't seem to be super active, but I promise we'd love to chat, we're just other introverted and busy writers who would welcome a way to procrastinate...I mean, a conversation. ;)
There is Writing Snippets group where you can post a piece of your story for others to read over, I recommend doing a short section pasted onto the site as we'd love to support you but I know a lot of us don't have time to read super long pieces. :)
If you need someone to read something longer try the Beta and Alpha reader section and see if anyone is available and willing to read over your longer work.
Just finished your project? Post in Achievements so we can celebrate with you!
If you want to just talk tropes and writing mumbo jumbo, General Writing is the section you want to head to, and if you just want to chat with some try the Chat Space!

Want to do a writing sprint? Sprinting is here! (I'm available most evening from 10-11 EST)

Community Rules
Be sure to read these, you will have 3 warnings and after that, you will be removed from the community.
The rules:
This is not a place for debate, please do not turn it into a debate ground. Friendly discussions about writing-related things are fine.
No theological debates, please and thank you. We have a lot of different denominations and thus I don't want anyone getting hurt or confused since we also have a lot of members under the age of 18. That being said, I don't mind people nicely talking about their beliefs just not in an argumentative way or negative way toward others or beliefs that differ from your own.
Don't take things literally...lol...we're writers with wild imaginations. If something confuses or offends you, don't go directly to offense ask nicely for some clarification. Especially if it's in the wording, it may have come out wrong. You know how that is...lol...
And that's all for now, if you have any rules you think would be good let me or one of the team members know!
I also disabled private messaging because we have so many young people and some people who are not so young like me...lol...and for everyone's safety (and because there is no way for our team to manage those) I disabled that feature. If you want to talk you can do so in the Chat Space!
Also, let me know if you need an invite to any of the groups and I can send those or have someone on the team send them to you.
